The B - Roads is the alias of multi-instrumentalist John Paul Turner. The music - between folk and post-rock – takes some reference from his last album ‘Senseless acts of beauty’ (Sonoris 2003) which was compared to Mark Hollis, Nick drake, Tape, Satie and Eno,- Whatever, the songs here, and forthcoming album, sway more towards the 70’s imprint of, say, John Martyn, and his eclectic sounds and styles.........
